Advanced Package Design: Concept to Completion Reg. # Y1686

How did that package fly off the shelf? This 2-day hands-on, collaborative course focuses on in-depth aspects of brand development and package design with a keen eye on strategic thinking and artistic design solutions. Contemporary consumer packaging practices and examples, case studies, different methods and materials, comping and presentation techniques are introduced. Students collaborate to do product research and shelf analysis as they sketch and brainstorm to define the brand and to explore multiple possibilities leading to creative strategy, design and final production. The goals are to inspire innovation and to create portfolio-worthy design case studies.
